RAM RAMACHANDRAN

Ram is so confident, so smarmy, such a "ladies man," that he makes my skin crawl. He doesn't mean any harm, of course. Part of the problem is that Ram was the only South Asian kid at his old school, which must have been tough. But when he started at Rexdale Junior High, he took one look at me, and something happened - kind of like whatever makes newly hatched ducklings think a dog or a goat or a beach ball is their mama. Well, Ram has been following this beach ball around the farm for too long.
